Welcome To Puffin Balloons
The core company was established in 1987, Puffin Balloons is the leading innovator in balloon screen-printing. Our continued commitment to quality, value and service has ensured our place as the acknowledged experts in the field.
Our background in engineering has enabled us to build state of the art printing machinery capable of reproducing laser sharp, multi-colour images recognised as the best in the industry. In pursuit of excellence we have developed and manufactured our own range of premium quality balloons, branded as Puffin Balloons.
These are ideally suited for use in promotions and fully complement the quality of our screen-printing. We have these produced on machines manufactured by our parent company Greenbrook Automations Ltd.
Custom Printed Balloons.
Our unique four colour printing process reproduces the most detailed spot colour designs and achieves excellent colour registration.
As our balloons are printed whilst inflated, the result is denser ink coverage, brighter colour, sharper contrast and a more accurate colour match, invaluable where clients need to retain corporate identity at promotional events.
From single sided printing to complex multi-colour, multi-sided prints, we have a print format to suit any logo or design, guaranteed to enhance your promotions.
We can even print on heart shaped latex balloons!
Standard Print Balloons
We offer a wide range of standard prints suitable for that special party or celebration, from Happy Birthday to Happy New Year.
Plain Balloons
Puffin Balloons consistently deliver the quality you expect and the look your promotions demands.
With a higher level of pigmentation than the average balloon, the range of colours is vibrant and eye-catching.
Our standard range is produced in sizes of 10 and 12 inches and consists of 19 colours, with heart-shaped balloons available in 10 colours. Our metallic range is produced in sizes of 5 and 12 inches and consists of 21 colours.
All Puffin balloons provide excellent helium retention and are manufactured from bio-degradable pure natural latex.
They can be purchased in bulk, pre packed and bagged specifically to customer requirement.
Balloon Accessories
Cups and Sticks
Balloons with cups and sticks attached are the perfect alternative to helium filled balloons. They are easily attached and ensure that the balloon remains upright at the ideal height for maximum promotional impact.

Ribbon
A range of colours to match our Puffin Balloon Range of balloons.
Self Sealing Ribbon Valves
Self-sealing valves can be fitted to balloons to facilitate helium filling. The valve seals the balloon and, since it is pre-ribboned, eliminates knot tying, and saves valuable time.
Inflators
Electric inflators are the ideal tool to inflate large quantities of balloons, they are labour saving and simple to use. For smaller quantities of balloons, hand pumps are an alternative.
Artwork
Top quality artwork is required in order to produce a first class print. Artwork should be supplied by e-mail, CD and must be in PC format and suitable for one of the following programs:
Adobe Illustrator version 10 - ai or eps files
Corel Draw version 11 - cdr files
Artwork supplied for Illustrator or Coreldraw files will give the best finished product (as long as they are true files created in the artwork program and not just placed in and saved).
Adobe Photoshop - psd, jpeg, tiff, png and other rastorised files - these files should be supplied at high resolution (600 dpi minimum)
Microsoft Word - for text only, please make a note of the fonts used.
PDF files are also acceptable and depend on which of the above programs they have been generated in.
Should you be unable to supply artwork, we offer a comprehensive artwork origination and alteration service. prices are available on request.
Delivery.
Balloons and accessories can be delivered nationally and internationally by courier.
